Absolute Scanner AS1

The market-leading 3D laser scanner
for arm and tracker

AS1 uses cutting-edge blue-laser technology and advanced programming, witch combines ‘always-on’ maximum performance with simple usability to deliver high-productivity non-contact 3D measurement. Thanks to a ground-breaking modular cross-platform technology concept, the same scanner unit can be used for both portable measuring arm and laser tracker measurement, without even the need for realignment when switching.

Unmounting the AS1 is as simple as flicking a switch, allowing it to be mounted to another referencing device, or in the case of the Absolute Arm, allowing for easier and safer access to touch probing functionality in hard-to-reach areas. It can then be remounted with no need for recalibration

Тhe AS1 delivers full performance at all times – maximum frame rate at maximum laser width for maximum productivity. Powered by our innovative SHINE – Systematic High-Intelligence Noise Elimination – technology, the AS1 has no hidden settings that limit speed and scan-line width in order to deliver peak accuracy.

Now high-speed 3D scanning comes without performance degradation on any surface, whatever the finish or material.
Last but not least -  AS1 is also automation ready when built into a laser tracker automation system. Its high-speed data collection capability is ideal for keeping up with the speed of modern robot systems, allowing them to be fully exploited for increased manufacturing productivity.

RS5 Laser Scanner

Reliable high-quality 3D laser scanning
for portable measuring arms

It delivers high-speed 3D scanning for surfaces and features on a wide range of finishes and materials on a budget price.
Retaining the trademark flexibility of this Absolute Arm range, the RS5 can be easily removed from the Absolute Arm, allowing simpler and safer access to touch probing functionality in hard-to-reach areas. Thanks to its innovative repeatable mounting, it can then be remounted with no need for recalibration – just clip it back in place and continue scanning immediately.

And with no tricky settings that impose productivity limitations to deliver peak accuracy, the RS5 Laser Scanner continues the established approach of Absolute Arm laser scanners – full performance at all times, no need to compromise speed for accuracy or accuracy for speed.

HP-L-10.10 Laser Scanning Sensor

The all-in-one laser scanner – Combining speed,
accuracy, flexibility and intuitiveness for CMMs

The Hexagon HP-L-10.10 isn’t just a market-leading scanning solution for CMMs. It’s the one laser scanner that turns your CMM into an optical multisensor system, combining unmatched speed, accuracy and flexibility to streamline the measurement of complex surfaces and workpieces.

The cutting-edge HP-L-10.10 in combination with PC-DMIS software is prepared for any inspection challenge, setting a new standard for CMM laser scanning.

HP-L-10.10 is Hexagon’s most accurate laser scanner for CMMs. With a probing form error of 8 μm, the accuracy is close to the results operators can achieve with tactile probing solutions. At the same time, the HP-L-10.10 captures up to 600 000 points per second, which means unprecedent speed and amount of data, even when measuring difficult surfaces, like reflective or shiny ones.

Laser scanner HP-L-10.6

Fast, Precise and Versatile –
Point-Cloud Acquisition Made Easy

HP-L laser scanners deliver maximum performance for complex surfaces and workpieces made of materials that are difficult to measure. These flexible laser scanners turn every coordinate measuring machine (CMM) into an optical multisensor system. The main applications include checking the features and characteristics of sheet metal parts, and measuring freeform surfaces of castings or other components in the automotive and aerospace industries.

HP-L uses Flying-Dot Technology, providing an excellent optical dynamic range that is superior to conventional line scanners as the light intensity is automatically adjusted for point by point. This means that HP-L laser scanners are less sensitive to ambient light and surface changes, and generate point clouds of high quality and reliability. In addition, the line width can be varied from 24 mm to 124 mm as required. The point-to-point distance varies depending on the chosen line width.

Equipped with HP-L laser scanners, CMMs turn into multisensor machines, performing even the most challenging measurement applications by combining traditional tactile probing with optical measurements such as surface capture or optical feature measurement – all in one part program.

HP-L-5.8 Laser Scanning Sensor

A compact, accurate and affordable fixed-line blue
laser scanning sensor
to be used with CMMs

The HP-L-5.8 makes it easy and affordable to add the speed and measurement coverage of laser scanning to new and existing CMMs.Like other HP-L laser scanners, the HP-L-5.8 turns a CMM into a multisensor machine that combines traditional tactile probing with optical measurement, such as freeform surface capture, in a single part program. Designed for use with a wide range of applications and measurement surfaces, the HP-L-5.8 fixed-line blue laser scanning sensor is accurate whether surfaces are very dark or shiny. Its compact form also makes it suitable for creating point clouds where workpiece accessibility is restricted and with smaller CMMs. And its rugged design protects the sensor from damage by collisions and vibrations. The HP-L-5.8 comes equipped with Hexagon’s Kinematic Joint and is compatible with existing Hexagon probe heads and accessories, including automatic sensor changing racks and extensions.
